Bing (Microsoft)

DoubleClick

Sales and Personalization Cookies

Eloqua
This cookie is used to collect information about how visitors use our Site and email communications. The cookie collects information including the number of visitors to the site, where visitors have come to the site from (including, where applicable, which email communications they clicked on) and the pages they visited. We use the information to compile statistic reports of our users’ browsing patterns so that we can improve the Site. Google Adwords
We use a Google Adwords Remarketing tool to serve ads for HireRight products and services based on a user’s prior visit or interaction with our Sites. Google will show ads for HireRight on other non-related sites across the Internet, based on your prior visit history with HireRight’s websites. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your past visits to our website, but we do not store personally identifiable information unless you provide it to us directly. LeadLander
This cookie is used to collect information about how visitors use our Site and email communications. Combining the cookie information with other data

When you enter the Site, we may also collect information, where available, about your computer for system administration purposes, such as your IP address, operating system and browser type. This information may be combined with the data we collected via the cookies above. This information is statistical data about our users’ browsing patterns and generally does not identify our users.

However, HireRight may use IP addresses to help identify you when HireRight feels, in its sole discretion, that it is necessary to enforce compliance with the terms of use of the Sites (including the privacy notices), to protect its services, website, systems, information, employees, business partners, subsidiaries, affiliates, users, customers or others, or when required by law or for law enforcement purposes.

In addition, where we have obtained your consent to use the information we collect via cookies in this manner (see below), we may:

Combine the information we collect via the Eloqua and Personalization cookie with your IP address and use the publically available information available from ‘Domain Name Service’ registries to determine the company associated with that IP address (if any). We may use this information to contact your company and to tailor this contact based on the pages you have viewed on our site; if you provide us with personal information when you use the Site, for example, when you complete a form on our Site, or you have provided your email address to us via other sources and you respond to one of our emails by clicking through to our website, we may combine the data we collect via the Eloqua and Performance cookie above so that we can contact you and to tailor the communications we send you; combine information we collect via the DoubleClick Tags with information obtained from other websites that use this cookie, in order to personalize the adverts that 3rd party sites present to you.

Your consent to the use of cookies

By using this Site, you agree that we can store and access ‘Performance Cookies’ on your device. You also agree that we can store and access ‘Sales and Personalization Cookies’ on your device but only to produce statistic reports in an anonymous form of our users’ browsing patterns so that we can improve the Site.

Other tracking technologies used in relation to this Site

Some of HireRight’s web and email content may also contain small, invisible images sometimes called web bugs or web beacons. When you access the web and emails that contain web beacons, communication is made to our servers in order to request the small image. This allows HireRight to count visitors who have viewed these pages or emails. Web beacons only collect limited information which include a cookie number, time and date of the page that was viewed and a page description.

HireRight uses a click-through link in some of its email messages. These links are sent to form pages or content on HireRight’s web site(s). When a recipient clicks one of these links, they pass through a different web server before arriving at the destination page. HireRight tracks click-through statistics to assist in tracking interest in different topics.
