David Fontaine

David Fontaine

Chief Executive Officer

David Fontaine is Chief Executive Officer of HireRight and its parent company, Corporate Risk Holdings, LLC.  He leads the company with a strategic vision while focused on driving positive change against measurable objectives.  David has a proven track record of managing enterprise business risk with a deep understanding of the global background screening regulatory landscape.

Previously, David held executive leadership roles, having served as the Chief Legal Officer, Chief Risk Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Corporate Secretary for several public and private companies, including Travelex Global Business Payments, Inc., American Management Systems, Inc. and Proxicom, Inc. Before moving into a corporate executive role, David was a partner at the highly respected Washington, D.C. litigation firm of Miller, Cassidy, Larroca and Lewin, LLP, practicing primarily in the areas of white-collar defense and commercial litigation. Immediately after law school, he served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Stanley Sporkin, U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, and later as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. Meskill, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

David earned his Juris Doctor from the Yale Law School in New Haven, Connecticut, and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He is admitted to the legal practice in Connecticut, the District of Columbia, New York, and Virginia.

Jurgen Leijdekker

Chief Operating Officer

Jurgen Leijdekker is the chief operating officer of HireRight, whose global experience spans private equity investment, corporate enterprise, and management consulting as well as government service with central bank and international monetary institutions.

Over the course of his career, Jurgen has driven growth strategies, customer experience improvements, and operational transformations for organisations across many industry sectors including healthcare, enterprise software development and financial services.

Prior to HireRight, Jurgen was a Senior Operating Executive at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS), a leading private equity firm that specialises its investment activities in information/business services and healthcare. In addition to participating in more than 30 diligence/deal processes, Jurgen served in numerous capacities for portfolio companies, including interim COO, board director, and PE operating executive.

Jurgen holds a Master of Arts degree in International Finance from the University of Amsterdam.

Steve Girdler

Steve Girdler

Managing Director, EMEA/APAC

Steve Girdler is HireRight’s Managing Director for EMEA and APAC, responsible for growing HireRight’s client base and capabilities in the regions with offices in various locations including UK, Poland and Singapore. 

Steve joined HireRight in April 2013 from a background in executive management, business development, marketing and product development with expertise in the resourcing, HR solutions and professional services industries. He has worked for KPMG as well as some of the largest names in the resourcing and outsourcing industry such as Manpower, Kelly Services and Adecco. In his most recent role at Adecco he was Director of London 2012, a three year endeavor that included the successful recruitment and delivery of 8,300 staff for the Olympic games as well as the management of the Adecco Olympic sponsorship. The project was lauded in the media and Government for delivering the most diverse and inclusive games ever through the development of innovative tools and programs.

Becky Mossman

Global HR Business Partners

Becky Mossman joined HireRight in February 2011 and is responsible for the whole HR cycle to include; Talent Acquisition; Employee Engagement; Benefits and Reward, Payroll, Policy and Procedures and legal changes for all our offices in the region.

Becky has over twenty five years of experience in HR for various industries: Business Process Outsourcing, Consultancy, Engineering and Retail.

She has worked for IKEA, Argos, Daewoo Motor Company but more recently within the BPO space for Xafinity Ltd now known as Equiniti in the Pensions and Benefits market. She has a strong background in HR change management, TUPE and acquisition and mergers. 

Caroline Smith

Senior Legal Counsel, EMEA/APAC

Caroline Smith has been with the Corporate Risk Holdings group of companies for over six years and is Senior Legal Counsel for HireRight’s EMEA/APAC region.  Caroline assists in the negotiation of contracts across the region and also provides support to the compliance function advising on a range of issues including letters of engagement, data protection and regulatory updates.

Caroline is a UK qualified lawyer with over 15 years’ experience and prior to joining the Corporate Risk Holdings group, she was with Herbert Smith LLP and Clyde & Co LLP working on a range of complex international corporate, corporate insolvency and commercial matters.

Caroline earned her Master of Arts degree at the University of Saint Andrews and went on to study law at the College of Law in York earning the GDL and LPC postgraduate qualifications.

Peter Cleverton

Director of Client Services and Account Management, EMEA

Peter Cleverton is responsible for the management and service that is provided to our clients across the EMEA regions.

Peter joined HireRight in October 2014 coming with over twelve years of experience in selling in to the recruitment industry and working at Monster World Wide for eight years where he managed teams of Global and regional account managers as well as a team of client services representatives.   He has managed and worked alongside some of the world’s largest organisations aligning their strategy on recruitment and technology

Dominic Simpson

Dominic Simpson

Director of Sales and Marketing, EMEA

Dominic Simpson joined HireRight in December 2014, as Director of Sales and Marketing EMEA. In this leadership role Dominic brings knowledge and understanding of the recruitment process and dives deep into issues surrounding the screening industry and mitigating risk, the evolving developments it faces and how employment screening supports an effective recruitment process. Dominic’s previous experience includes Sales Director EMEA APAC for Rigzone, a division of Dice inc., and leading the online Media sales at Financial News, a division of Dow Jones, News Corp. He has held a variety of leadership positions in media and finance data since 2000. Dominic graduated with a BA in History at Reading University.      

Kiira Kure

Kiira Kure

Director, Estonia.

Kiira Kure joined HireRight in April 2004 and leads the operation in Tallinn, Estonia.

Before joining Hireright she headed the human resources and external affairs functions at The Coca-Cola Company’s Estonian and Baltic operations for nine years.

Kiira holds an MA degree in Law from Tartu University and an MBA degree from Estonian Business School and is a member of the Supervisory Board of SOS Children Villages in Estonia.

Piotr Golec

Piotr Golec

Director of Operations, Poland.

Piotr Golec joined the HireRight team in Katowice in March 2012. As Operations Director, Piotr is responsible for the delivery of service in EMEA/APAC. Prior to joining HireRight, Piotr led Reed in Partnership Poland, working the with long- term unemployed to help them eliminate barriers to return to the labour market. Piotr also spent over four years with Hewitt Associates and two years with Accenture, and holds a PhD in Management from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain.
