Most organizations recognize the benefits of background screening—from improving the quality of hire to protecting a hard-earned reputation, background checks can produce a wide range of positive effects for an employer.  

Yet, despite the prevalence of standard background checks, many organizations have not evolved their screening programs to keep pace with emerging trends that are driving a number of employers to think outside the traditional hiring box.
