If you believe that any information in your background report is inaccurate or incomplete, you may file a dispute with HireRight for free. HireRight understands that your report may affect your eligibility and we aim to complete our reinvestigation as soon as possible. Depending on the nature, scope, and source of the information being disputed, the dispute reinvestigation may take up to 30 days to complete (up to 45 days in limited circumstances).

HireRight will promptly reinvestigate the specific information/records that you are disputing. If you need assistance identifying the specific information/records that you want to dispute, trained representatives are available and can be reached through the contact information below.

If you believe that any information in your background report is inaccurate or incomplete, you may request the correction of your information by contacting HireRight’s Customer Service at 866-521-6995 or customerservice@hireright.com.  HireRight will conduct a prompt investigation regarding the correction that you have requested.  The amount of time this investigation may take will depend on the nature, scope, and source of the information that you are asking to be corrected. HireRight will notify you in writing with the results of our investigation and any corrections made.
