Having studied all the data from our 2016 EMEA Benchmarking survey we have pulled together our top 4 takeaway tips for employee focused businesses.
With more companies hiring, the race is on to get the best talent, yet there are still issues distracting HR teams, such as skills shortages, unexpected departures, and internal demands. Due to so many distractions, efficiency has become the priority. From a background screening perspective, this means improving the time to hire, but that should not take attention away from the importance of re-screening, treatment of temporary employees, and the need for thorough, reliable background checks on new staff.
Tip 1: Check your processes
It’s important to examine your processes to ensure you are working efficiently and highlight areas where gains can be made.
Tip 2: Think long term
Unfortunately, no-one has a crystal ball. But that doesn’t stop you from looking to the future. Think about the long term and plan your recruitment needs ahead so you can be fully prepared when the time comes.
Tip 3: Integrate technology
Over the last few years we have all seen technology begin to dominate our working environment. Technology has changed the way we all work, but it’s not just about innovating your processes, it’s about integrating them too. Getting systems and processes to work together is another time saver, meaning you can be even more efficient.
Tip 4: Review policies
It’s important to make sure your policies are clear and robust at a national and international level as your business grows globally.
