Drugs, Drivers and Testing – Navigating the Challenges in Trucking

Much has changed in the trucking industry in recent years with regard to drug and alcohol testing. While states continue to legalize marijuana for recreational use, the Federal government is drafting and implementing new rules to make the detection of unauthorized drug use easier. Meanwhile, the COVID-19 pandemic is making meeting strict testing rules more difficult as the medical industry deals with surging coronavirus cases.

In this upcoming webinar panel featuring three experts with perspectives ranging from legal to medical to law enforcement, attendees will learn about compliance, testing, and enforcement on what to anticipate this Fall and how to grapple with the evolving landscape. The expert panelists will dive deep into:

  • Changes to Federal testing rules, including an update from the Clearinghouse as well as COVID-19 waivers and exemptions
  • Collection activities such as the impacts of the Clearinghouse on the testing process and how COVID-19 impacts testing facilities
