The mission of the Healthcare HUG is to connect peers, share HireRight experiences, industry trends and best practices. The HUG consists of a leadership committee of customers representing healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and insurance companies. This customer-led user group is the voice of the HireRight healthcare community and brings together all healthcare customers through virtually hosted webinars.

Chief Medical Officer and Managing Director of Transportation, HireRight
Dr. Simo is the Chief Medical Officer and the Managing Director of Transportation at HireRight. He served as HireRight’s medical director starting in 2009 and was promoted to chief medical officer in 2015. Dr. Simo was also appointed to the role of managing director of transportation and drug & health screening in 2018. Dr. Simo came to HireRight with a decade of experience in the medical consulting arena. Before that he was the medical director for an occupational health clinic in Virginia and owned a consulting firm providing medical director services to employers across the United States.

Director of Product, Drug & Health and Transportation, HireRight
With over 15 years of employment screening industry experience, Katy is the Director of Product for Drug & Health Screening and Transportation at HireRight. In that capacity she is responsible for go to market sales strategies, implementation strategy and end to end sales process execution for all drug and health service products. Katy has been with HirerRight for over 10 years, and has held roles in Sales Operations Management, National Sales Management and Account Implementation Management. She holds a Bachelor's of Arts degree from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and is actively involved with National Drug & Alcohol Screening Association (NDASA), The Drug & Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) and the Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association (SAPAA).
