IRVINE, Calif., December 12, 2017 – HireRight, a leading provider of global employment background checks, drug testing, education verification, and electronic Form I-9 and E-Verify solutions, is pleased to announce it has been added to the Society for Human Resource Management's (SHRM) Recertification Provider Program.
As a Recertification Provider, HireRight is able to award SHRM Certified Professionals and SHRM Senior Certified Professionals with professional development credits (PDCs) for participation in HireRight educational programming that aligns with SHRM’s Body of Competency and Knowledge (BoCK). The SHRM BoCK outlines the behavioral competencies and knowledge HR professionals need for strategic focus and effective job performance.
“At HireRight, we are proud to offer HR professionals tools and information to help achieve success in their careers,” said Jurgen Leijdekker, president of HireRight. “We’re happy to see that SHRM has recognized the value of HireRight’s resources, and believe this will further strengthen our commitment to support the human resource community.”
HireRight offered its first SHRM accredited program this fall in partnership with the CEO of TalentCulture, Meghan M. Biro. The webinar, “7 Steps to a Candidate Experience That Wins Top Talent,” provided HR professionals with valuable insight toward delivering a positive candidate experience, while meeting an organization’s unique background screening needs. HireRight’s next scheduled webinar, “Pay Equity Legislation: 5 Ways to Tackle This Year’s HR Must-Do,” takes place on January 11, 2018.
Recertification credits through both SHRM and HR Certification Institute are offered by HireRight through its complimentary webinars.
