Top Screening Challenges
Reducing time-to-hire remains the number one employment screening challenge for the second year in a row, as the industry continues to face widespread shortages, high turnover and churn.
The growing shortage of drivers is triggering companies to implement new tactics to bolster driver recruitment and to attract a more diverse audience.
A noticeable shift is occurring away from traditional tactics such as online job boards (down 10% from last year) to social networking (up 13% this year).
Primary Reasons Drivers Are Leaving
Drivers leaving for better pay was reported by a greater number of respondents from larger companies, those with 500+ employees (68%) vs. smaller companies (40%).
Retirement continues to be a major contributing factor for the bulk of future driver demand (4% increase over last year).
