Make Sure You Are Prepared for the Clearinghouse Launch
If your company has drivers subject to FMCSA drug and alcohol testing regulations then you are required to start using the National Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse database on January 6, 2020.
As an employer, you have certain responsibilities that must be carried out to comply with the new database requirements - such as conducting full and limited queries on prospective and current employees, reporting drug and alcohol program violations, reporting return-to-duty test results and successful completion of a follow-up testing plan.
