In order to maintain the quality of CMMC Marketplace, we require that all service providers go through credentialing with our third party partner HireRight and their partner TrendSource. Exceptions may be made for public organizations and those that are able to prove credentialing via reciprocal standards.

E-Verify is a web-based system that allows enrolled employers to confirm the eligibility of their employees to work in the United States. If you need E-Verify set up on your account, you will need to click on the Adobe Sign link in Step 2 above and complete the E-Verify Form.

In order to qualify for CMMC Marketplace's compliance and/or data breach guarantee, you are required to conduct background screens for all employees and contractors that will have access to your organization’s information or systems using our preferred partner, HireRight.

CMMC Marketplace can view if an employee or contractor has passed a background screening and what package it was. CMMC Marketplace does not have access to personally identifiable information (PII) for your workers or organization.

Prior to CMMC Marketplace creating an account for an employee or contractor to access your organizations information or systems, they will verify that person passed a background screening.

Ban the box is a feature of Compliance Workbench. To setup compliance workbench, please contact the HireRight Customer Service Team at customerservice@hireright.com or 866-521-6995 to request.

By default, you adjudicate your own candidates. If you would like HireRight to manage adjudication for you, please contact the HireRight Customer Service Team at customerservice@hireright.com or 866-521-6995 to request. There is an additional fee for this service.

By default, AKA/Maiden Name searches are turned off for your account. If you would like AKA/Maiden Name searches as part of your background screenings, please contact the HireRight Customer Service Team at customerservice@hireright.com or at 866-521-6995 to request. There is an additional fee for this service.
