I am responsible for overseeing a team of Public/Criminal Record Researchers and ensure that completed requests delivered to clients are meet with turnaround time and quality standards. My primary goal is to ensure that the team’s work is completed in a timely and accurate manner while at the same time adhere to company policy and regulatory compliance standards. I work cross-functionally with various departments within the organization to communicate and resolve issues. I also often work on special projects that better align the company with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) regulations.
Most of my days are scheduled with meetings for team communication, training, and/or department projects. The remainder of my day is filled with resolving issues that can involve interacting with our internal legal resources to ensure proper handling. I also assist our team in India with resolving issues that arise there. No day is ever the same in Public Records and each day brings a new challenges. And to tell you the truth, I wouldn’t have it any other way!
When not in the office I enjoy participating in running competitions such as Warrior Dash, Tough Mudder, and Mudderella. Besides traveling with my family, my other interest is community involvement. In 2009 I created a women’s organization within Rutherford County to fulfill cultural, social, and community charity contributions. Since our creation we have grown to over 20 women that selflessly contribute to our local community while building lifelong friendships in the process.
Never be timid to ask about other departments or areas of interest. One thing I’ve learned is that this company truly believes in helping their employees to be successful. HireRight encourages their employees and provides them with the tools necessary to evolve and progress in their careers.
