Ko Hui Yen
Ko Hui Yen is the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Asia Pacific and India at HireRight. She is responsible for plotting HireRight’s strategic growth across APAC and India. Prior to joining HireRight in January 2019, Hui Yen served in multiple senior leadership roles at organizations including ESI International, where she successfully established new offices and sales teams in China. She was also Managing Director at professional training and coaching firm Momenta Group. Most recently, Hui Yen co-founded Kaleidoskope, a consulting and training firm that boasted clients including global MNCs and government agencies. Hui Yen holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Caroline Smith
Caroline is a UK qualified lawyer with over 18 years’ experience and currently serves as HireRight’s Deputy General Counsel for the EMEA and APAC regions. When not “lawyering” or writing blogs, Caroline can be found striking yoga poses in remote locations such as Mongolia and Bhutan.
Samrat Das
Samrat Das is HireRight’s Vice President for APAC and US Offshore Operations. In this role, Samrat is responsible for building and driving the APAC and US Offshore operational functions to meet customer requirements, while implementing continuous improvement processes to encourage sustainable growth and scalability. Samrat joined HireRight in 2021, originally overseeing operational activities for the US Offshore with concerted efforts on growing operational footprint in India. Before HireRight, Samrat had over 20 years of career spanning across various operational leadership roles in BPOs and Background Ground Screening Industry and has managed operations in various geographies at organizations including Sterling Check and First Advantage. Samrat is a Hotel Management graduate and has gone through Six Sigma and COPC certifications during his stint at the BPOs.
