HireRight Honored by the Association of Talent Development’s BEST Awards
The BEST Awards recognize companies that demonstrate enterprise-wide success in talent development
IRVINE, Calif., November 14, 2017 – HireRight, a leading provider of global employment background checks, drug testing, education verification, and electronic Form I-9 and E-Verify solutions, is pleased to announce it has been honored as a winner of the Association of Talent Development’s BEST Awards, in recognition of the organization’s dedication to global employee development and performance initiatives.
Talent development has always been a priority for HireRight. In 2017, the organization prioritized “investing in our people around the world” as a strategic focus, thus placing employee development front and center. Various innovative programs were rolled out to develop people leadership skills, drive the right cultural values and measure the impact on employee morale, advancement and retention. The program has proven successful, and as a result the company has seen higher participation rates in learning opportunities and stronger engagement across its internal social media platforms.
“Our goal is to create an environment that enables our people to be their best every day,” said Jurgen Leijdekker, president of HireRight. “Our increased focus on employee development has had a positive impact on the company. Receiving this recognition from the Association of Talent Development is further evidence that we’re on the right path.”
HireRight was included among 40 companies across various industries that have demonstrated enterprise-wide success as a result of employee development. Nearly 175 companies from 11 countries competed in the 2017 BEST Awards, submitting qualitative and quantitative data on their employee development practices which were judged by members of the BEST Awards advisory committee, composed of a select group of talent development experts.
“Creating innovative, vibrant learning cultures and developing talent in ways that clearly contribute to strategic business goals, are hallmarks of ATD BEST winners,” says Tony Bingham, ATD president and CEO. “They get it. Leaders in these organizations value the impact that talent development achieves, because they know that having a knowledgeable and skilled workforce drives success.”
Winners of the ATD BEST Awards were honored at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on October 5, and are featured in the October 2017 issue of TD Magazine.
